Step 2: Check Requirements
•Senior High/WASSCE certificate (for undergraduates).
•Bachelor’s degree transcript (for master’s programs).
•Proof of English or German proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or TestDaF for German).
Step 3: Prepare Documents
•Academic transcripts, certificates, passport, CV, motivation letter, recommendation letters.
•Certified translations if your documents aren’t in English/German.
Step 4: Apply via University Portal or Uni-Assist
•Many universities use Uni-Assist, a centralized system for foreign students.
•Application fees usually €75–€100.
Step 5: Receive Admission Letter
•If accepted, you’ll get an admission letter (“Zulassungsbescheid”), needed for your visa.
Step 6: Apply for German Student Visa
•Apply through the German Embassy in Ghana/your country.
•Show proof of funds (~€11,208 per year in a blocked account).
Step 7: Travel & Enrollment
•After visa approval, travel to Germany and enroll at your university.
