Admission Requirements for Arts & Humanities Programs at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne is a premier institution for Arts & Humanities in France. Here’s exactly what international students need to know:

Language Requirements

•Most undergraduate programs are taught in French, and international applicants must demonstrate a CEFR B2 level (or higher) in French—verified via tests like TCF, DELF, or TEF.

•Non-French speakers can enroll in on-campus intensive French courses, available free of charge during the year for admitted students.

Application Procedures

Depending on your level and country of residence, students follow different procedures:

Bachelor’s (Licence 1)

•French citizens / EEA / holders of the French Baccalauréat: apply via the Parcoursup platform between January and March.

•Non-EEA international students:

•If from a Campus-France country: apply via the “Études en France” (EEF) platform (white file for first-year Bachelor).

•If not linked to Campus-France: submit the “dossier blanc” via the DAP (Demande d’Admission Préalable).

2nd/3rd Year or Master’s

•French/EEA/residence permit holders: apply via eCandidat or Mon Master (for Master’s).

•International students (Campus-France): use Études en France platform (deadlines vary per country).

•Others: apply directly via eCandidat or Mon Master.

Support & Enrollment

Once admitted:

•Complete administrative registration to pay tuition and CVEC, and activate your student account.

•Join orientation and receive help with housing, permits, and academic setup via dedicated international support teams.
